In Bolpur on #MahaSaptami visited the historic 288 years old Surul Rajbari #DurgaPuja. Was joined by our karyakarta friends & leaders. Was happy to meet the scion of the Surul Rajbari Sh Soumen Sircar & other members. This Puja fits perfectly into the #UNESCO heritage narrative.

Was delighted to see our mandal leaders & karyakartas active in organising #DurgaPuja… In a number of pockets across Nadia south, their #durgapujapandal are creatively designed & rooted to tradition & imparting a cultural message!

The districts have some excellent #durgapujapandal, this one in Taherpur the Pandal is in form of a Swami Narayan Temple. In Taherpur, in this very ground PM Shri Narendra Modi’s addressed a historic public meeting in 2019, which saw huge response.

Despite many challenges, our karyakartas & leaders in the districts are actively involved in celebrating & organising #DurgaPuja at various levels. Spent some time at one such Durga Puja pandal with Sh Ashis Biswas BJP MLA, Krishnaganj. #DurgaPujo

In Ranaghat-Badkulla-Taherpur area, Nadia district, joined our karyakartas & district leaders on #MahaSasthi in celebrating #DurgaPuja. Amazing talent, creativity, fascinating Puja pandals, various communities participating. Spoke of the uniqueness of the #UNESCO heritage tag!
