In order to recall the suffering caused by the division of India, Bharatiya Janata Party will organize silent marches across the nation on Sunday.

Today evening, JP Nadda, party’s national president, will participate in a silent BJP march at Jantar Mantar in the nation’s capital. From August 12 to August 14, the party intended to host displays at several workplaces and other locations.

National general secretary Dushyant Gautam, former union minister Dr. Harsh Vardhan, Narendra Rana, Anirban Ganguly, Priti Gandhi, and Shakti Singh make up the six-person committee set up to guarantee the idea is carried out nationwide.

According to Gautam, party will meet with the relatives of individuals who endured the suffering of the 1947 division.

He further added “Today evening at Jantar Mantar, JP Nadda would participate in a silent march commemorating Partition Vibhishika Diwas. The party will also interact with the relatives of individuals who endured the painful process of division.”

National general secretary further stated that efforts will be made to educate the younger generation about the agony of the religiously motivated partition of India.

Meanwhile, Prime Minister Narendra Modi paid tribute to all those who sacrificed their lives as a result of the division of India and Pakistan on Sunday.
