Prolific writer, thinker and well-known chronicler Dr Anath Bandhu Chattopadhyay kindly presented me with his latest works on Dr Syama Prasad Mookerjee.

The “Boiwala Book Cafe” – a book-publishing start-up in Santiniketan has brought out an issue of their journal “Ekhun Santiniketan” dedicated to Dr Mookerjee. They have also published Dr Chatterjee’s book on “Syama Prasad Mookerjee’s “Death in Detention”, while The National Book Trust (NBT) has published his Bengali biography of Dr Mookerjee.

Was delighted to receive my copies from a self-effacing and profound scholar such as Anath Bandhu Da who has spent long decades closely working with Dr Mookerjee’s younger brother, the legendary litterateur, Uma Prasad Mookerjee. Would urge readers to disseminate the right narrative through such authentic works.
