At Nagercoil, called on Mananiya Balakrishnan Ji, President, Vivekananda Kendra, Kanyakumari. Wished him a very speedy recovery and good health. In our long association with Balakrishnan Ji, he has always come across as the very embodiment of the mantra of “One Life, One Mission.” He has dedicated a lifetime, from his younger days, for realising Swami Vivekananda’s mission, as personified and expressed by late Ma. Eknath Ranade Ji, through the transformative educational, social & cultural work of the Vivekananda Kendra. Having first started his Seva work in the Northeast, Balakrishnan Ji has indefatigably worked to actualise that vision across India for more than four decades. We recalled a number interesting anecdotes and episodes. He continues to remain an inspiration for all of us.
