Was happy to unveil a statue of Dr Syama Prasad Mookerjee at Badkulla, Nadia. The initiative to commission and to erect the statue was taken by the Badkulla Boys Club. The statue has been beautifully sculpted by Shri Sanjay Pal son of veteran sculptor from Nadia, late Shri Nemai Pal.

Eminent people, public representatives, intellectuals, academics and activists from the district were present.

Dr Syama Prasad Mookerjee symbolised #EkBharatShreshthaBharat as articulated by PM Modi. Our first & foremost collective duty is to nurture and protect that sense and essence of unity.

On way back stopped at Ushagram, Birnagar, to meet our young friends whose enthusiasm and smiles are always contagious!
