The Tawang Monastery holds a special civilisational significance for India and the Buddhist world.

There has been a significant increase in the number of people visiting Tawang Monastery,

The Monastery courtyard wore a festive look, getting ready to welcome the sacred Relics of Lord Buddha on 31st October, another historic moment for the town, the state and the region.

Was warmly welcomed by Lama Thuptan, secretary of the Monastery.
