A deep and heartfelt appreciation was expressed for PM Shri Narendra Modi’s untiring efforts in preserving Bhagavan Buddha’s legacy and message, by all eminent and venerable Rinchopes in their interactions. Specially lauded was Prime Minister’s historic and unprecedented effort in successfully repatriating the sacred Piprahwah Gems Relics after 127 years. As part of the delegation led by Shri Tarun Chugh, called on His Eminence Yongzin Ling Rinpoche, His Eminence Kundeling Tsatsak Rinpoche, His Eminence Gyabong Tikku of Kinnaur. Also met and interacted with Indian monks from the Himalayan region. Our interactions and discussions reflected PM Shri Narendra Modi’s and Bharatiya Janata Party’s deep commitment to Buddhist heritage and welfare. Others present were Shri Tashi Gyalson, former CEC, Ladakh, Shri Jamyang T Namgyal, former MP, Ladakh, Shri Tashi Gyaltsan, BJP president Ladakh, Shri Phunchok Stanzin & Shri Subroto Barua, GBF, Shri Amruth Joshi, veteran journalist, writer and expert on Himalayan Buddhist issues.
