In my valedictory address dwelt in detail on the various historic initiative taken by PM Shri Narendra Modi on preserving Bhagavan Buddha’s heritage – the milestones in the last one year being the declaration of #Pali as classical language & return of the Piprahwa Gem Relics after 127 years. Spoke of his vision of #Vikas & #Viraasat
Ven Dr Dhammapiya read out the “Manu-Bankul Declaration” unanimously passed by the conference, lauding PM Modi’s leadership & historic initiatives in preserving, promoting, reclaiming Bhagavan Buddha’s heritage and legacy” as Bharat’s spiritual inheritance and cultural legacy.
Was delighted to hand over certicates to twelve young scholars who presented papers on various themes of #Buddha legacy and #Pali in a contemporary light. #buddha #piprahwarelics #pali #NarendraModi #ViksitBharat @highlight
