At Sabroom, the southern tip of Tripura, bordering Chittagong, a day long commemoration, celebration and discussion on Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi’s historic efforts to preserve, promote & disseminate Bhagavan Buddha’s legacy and heritage – at Dhamma Dipa International Buddhist University (DDIBU). Shri Kishore Barman, Hon’ble Minister for Higher Education, Panchayati Raj & General Administration, Govt of Tripura, delivered the keynote address, Venerable Dr Dhammapiya Ji, Chancellor DDIBU, Venerable Dr Khemachara Ji, scholar and Vice Chairman Bahujana Hitaya Educational Trust, both blessed the programme and spoke glowingly of PM Modi’s efforts to reclaim and repatriate the sacred Piprahwa Gem Relics.
