In Gangtok, an engaging programme on #OneNationOneElection – President of the Sikkim Press Club and senior journalist Shri Bhim Rawat, senior advocate, former MLA and Sikkim BJP state president Shri D.R. Thapa, eminent members from civil society, students and faculty from Sikkim University, Sikkim Govt Law College, elected representatives, legal luminaries, present and former elected representatives attended. A lively question and answer session followed. Was happy to see a students from universities and colleges attend & actively participate. Spoke on various facets and dimensions of #OneNationOneElection and on Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi’s exhortations on its necessity for strengthening democracy, for focusing resources and energy on development, for realising the vision and aspiration of #ViksitBharat. The #OneNationOneElection organising committee led by Shri Sangay Gyatso Bhutia made a great effort in organising the meet!
