In Kushinagar paid my respects to Aggamahapandita Ven. Bhadant Gyaneshwar Mahasthavir Ji, President of Kushinagar Bhikkhu Sangh & Monk-in-Chief of Myanmar Buddhist Temple, Kushinagar. From Myanmar he came to India at an early age, adopted India as his homeland and has spent a lifetime dedicated to propagation of #Buddhism in India and in promoting #Pali. Had an interesting and varied discussion and was happy to see that he was very happy to see the status of Classical Language conferred on #Pali by PM Shri Narendra Modi and was delighted to see the Nalanda University resurrected in modern glory. #Buddha.
