On the occasion of #AzadiKaAmritMahotsav PM Shri @narendramodi’s call to commemorate unsung heroes of India’s freedom struggle has inspired many in many ways. At Ushagram Lokshiksha Niketan, in Birnagar, Nadia, we are working to set up a gallery dedicated to the unsung freedom fighters of undivided Nadia district. To be named after revolutionary Basanta Biswas (1895-1915), the gallery is coming up with support from the Union Ministry of Culture. Thanks to Shri @kishanreddybjp for responding to the proposal. To be ready by January 2024, the gallery will be the first of its kind in the district.
