Was happy to deliver the concluding address at the national conference on “Alliance for Disaster Resilient Infrastructure- #G20” organised by @OfficialNBCC & @NaredcoNational at New Delhi today. Spoke of PM Shri Narendra Modi’s vision of “Disaster Risk Management”, “Coalition for Disaster Resilient Infrastructure”, the centrality of disaster management and disaster resilient infrastructure in the evolving vision of “ Voice of Global South”, of Bharat’s capacity of taking a leadership role in it, spoke of the genesis of IRIS, reminded the gathering of how Gujarat under then CM Shri Narendra Modi was the first state to establish the Disaster Management Authority, of the phenomenal transformation of Kutch post the earthquake.
