At #SwamiVivekananda’s Ancestral House & Cultural Centre, Kolkata delivered the keynote address in presence of Swami Suvirananda Ji General Secretary of Ramakrishna Math & Mission & Swami Gyanalokananda Ji, on Swami Vivekananda’s nationalism – many shades, many dimensions. I spoke of how one sees the India of Swami Vivekananda’s hopes arising today multidimensionally – a new National Education Policy #NEP2020 – imparting a new education for a #NewIndia, the rapid strides in the vision of #AtmanirbharBharat, India’s scientific leap from vaccine discovery to supplying it to the world, to breaking records in launching satellites – displaying an intense scientific prowess, from being once a famine plagued country to emerging today as a major actor in the globally food supply system to declaring International Year of the #Millet – for food security, nutrition & sustainable agriculture, from Vikas to Viraasat and Yoga – India’s rise today reflects Vivekananda’s hopes from her.
