A very fulfilling morning today in #Asansol listening to 89th edition of #MannKiBaat with our karyakartas & councillors. From start-up #Unicorns to water for sparrows the gamut on which PM @narendramodi spoke was fascinating. His #MannKiBaat is in reality the peoples voice.

Large number of women participated, especially when PM spoke of SHGs their faces lit up! Special volume on #MannKiBaat was distributed to all participants after #MannKiBaat, the connect with PM Modi’s words is so palpable at the grassroots – one saw it first hand.

Also spoke of how TMC Govt was scheming to demolish historic Alipore Jail which had seen great revolutionaries such as Sri Aurobindo,Bagha Jatin,Netaji being imprisoned. In the name of building a museum TMC Govt conspired to sell the land till HC stayed it. #AzadiKaAmritMahotsav

Visited the Mandir Memorial of four Swayamsevaks who were killed by jihadis in Joynagar area in 2001. Supported the renovation of their Mandir Memorial. At a time when violently subversive elements like #PFI are active in #WestBengal, the need to remain ever vigilant increases.

Addressed a “Patha-Sabha” in Basanti, 24 Parganas (south) at Sunderban estuary. TMC’s Govt is a completely discredited govt in which minister after minister is involved in graft & scams. While PM Modi led BJP Govt is going all out to serve, empower, connect, include people.

On a historic & civilisational day when PM Shri Narendra laid the foundation stone for India International Centre for Buddhist Culture & Heritage, Lumbini was honoured to be part of Vesak Day Buddha Jayanti celebrations in Delhi organised by International Buddhist Confederation Ministry of Culture, GoI.

As part of the statewide protest week against TMC’s violent, undemocratic & Constitution negating politics, took part in a padayatra in Rajpur, 24 Parganas (south).

In Bolpur, this afternoon, dedicated a memorial to late Gaurab Sarkar, in the presence of his family members, friends, karyakartas & BJP district office bearers. Gaurab was killed on 2nd May, last year, by TMC’s marauding gangs. We stand united in our resistance & struggle.
