An informative and thought-provoking discussion organised by SPMRF & IGNCA on the report of the cultural and civilisational corridor in the Western Himalayas, shaped by Bharat in the past. Immense possibilities for cultural-religious-educational initiatives and promotion in the region. The need to focus on history of Jammu, immense potential for Dogra history, culture. The need to revive the Hindu Shahi history. The Shaivite corridor has immense strategic significance and possibilities for India.
“Vikaas” & “Viraasat” mantra as envisaged by PM Modi can be a major driving factor. Member Secretary IGNCA – Dr Sachidananda Joshi, former Secretary Culture, GoI, Shri Raghavendra Singh, historian and conservationist Shri Surya Sarathi Roy, Prof Sudhir Lal, Head, Kalakosh Division, IGNCA Shri Pathikrit Payne, strategic expert and senior Fellow SPMRF, spoke on the occasion. Ms Venus Upadhyaya, journalist, scholar presented the report. Thanks to Sri Aurobindo Society for initiating the preparation of the report.
