Was happy to meet and catch up with young BJP leader, activist, intellectual and policy-maker from Leh, Stanzin Chosphel, Executive Councillor (Education, Culture), Ladakh Autonomous Hill Development Council (LADHC). Had an interesting discussion of history, culture, Buddhist legacy and heritage of the Ladakh region and of the achievements in the last decade and of the challenges. Thanked him for their support for the programme commemorating PM Shri Narendra Modi’s conferring of Pali with the status of classical language. Looking forward to a series of engagements and interaction.
