Was delighted to participate in the “Swami Vivekananda Indian Art & Cultural Festival 2024” organised by Ramakrishna Mission Vidyamandira at its historic “Bose House Campus” and Lalit Kala Akademi Regional Centre, Kolkata. Joined @AnuttamaGanguly in launching two courses on the occasion : one on “Lost Styles of Bengal Paintings” and another on “Ceramic Art.” Referred to the significance of PM Shri Narendra Modi’s vision of “Vikas” & “Viraasat” and urged the institution to hold a special conference and exhibition on Acharya Nandalal Bose’s illustration of the Indian Constitution on the occasion of #75YearsOfConstitution. Situtated on the bank of Ganga, a few kilometres from Uttarpara, this historic precincts once belonged to the Bose family and saw Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose frequenting it. Was happy to donated a second set books and to see the campus grow as a vibrant centre of art and of cultural studies rooted to Bharatiya essence. #Vivekananda.
