On #VijayDiwas the Buddha Triratna Mission in collaboration with Dr Syama Prasad Mookerjee Research Foundation organised a discussion on the “Challenges to Minority Security in Bangladesh” especially the onslaught on Hindus and Buddhists. 1971 Bangladesh Liberation War veteran Maj General Anukul Chandra AVSM (retd), was felicitated by BJP National General Secretary Shri Tarun Chugh. Eminent speakers and participants from the Buddhist community and Bhikkhu Sangha spoke on the occasion. A special statement was adopted expressing concern on and condemning the attacks on minorities in Bangladesh and calling upon the interim government to take immediate steps to prevent these attacks and to bring the perpetrators to book. Special thanks to Shri Subroto Barua, Working President Buddha Triratna Mission, Ven Dr Khachayan Sraman, General Secretary, Ven Dipankar Sumedho, Chairman, Buddhist Cultural Foundation.
