While in Leh, Ladakh, visited the Mahabodhi International Meditation Centre – a vibrant ecosystem working in the field of yoga, affordable healthcare, education – in the Himalayan heights. Was honoured to be welcomed by its founder Venerable Bhikkhu Sanghasena Ji who has been working here for the last four decades. He was extremely delighted by PM Shri Narendra Modi’s decision to confer classical language status on Pali and was effusive in his praise of PM Modi’s contribution to the preservation of Buddha legacy and to Ladakh’s development in the last one decade. “No other Prime Minister has done this,” he emphasised. In minus -7 his welcome and one-pointed dedication to Seva inspired by Karuna and driven by as he said, ‘ Sabkaa Saath, Sabkaa Vikaas’, was indeed very warm!
