Inspired by PM Shri @narendramodi’s galvanising call of #MeriMaatiMeraDesh had the privilege of collecting the sacred soil from Sister Nivedita’s historic house at Baghbazar in North Kolkata. A house which was frequented by Swami Vivekananda, Sri Aurobindo, Acharya Jagadish Chandra Bose, Sudhira Devi, Gurudev Rabindranath Tagore, Romesh Chandra Dutt. A radiating centre once, of nationalism and patriotism, a vibrant centre of India’s freedom movement. The streets and surroundings are replete with history. Was accompanied by BJP president of North Kolkata dist Shri Tamoghna Ghosh and his team.

“ I believe that India is one, indissoluble, indivisible…National unity is built on the common home, the common interest and common love…the strength which spoke in the Vedas and Upanishads, in the making of religion and empires, in the learning of scholars, and the meditation of the saints, is born once more amongst, and its name today is nationality” – Sister Nivedita
