Last night I along with Jitendra Tiwari tried to contact our workers whose house were vandalised & burnt by a Jihadi mob in Ghurisha, Ilambazar, Bolpur, police blocked our way citing 144 & were extremely arrogant & non-cooperative. They dare not show this attitude to Jihadis. Spoke to our karyakartas & organised for ration to be immediately to be sent to 10 affected Hindu families. Mamata Banerjee’s police have been reduced to becoming party doormats. They were preventing us from helping the affected Hindu families In West Bengal the police uniform is indicative of political subservience. Not only were they displaying attitude, they were making political comments to please Mamata Banerjee who has actually trained them to become servants of Jihadis & not serve the people. #westbengalviolence #dranirbanganguly
